Telecoms PR

Telecoms companies operate in a complex and capital-intensive industry facing shrinking revenues.

You need a PR partner that understands both the technical complexity and the commercial pressures of the sector.

With a combined 70 years of telecoms PR and comms experience in our team, we can help you build stronger connections with your audience, stakeholders, and the media.

At TFD, we help your telecoms brand translate technical innovation – communications technologies, network automation, fibre rollout, and 5G infrastructure – into strategic influence. Whether you’re navigating market competition, regulatory scrutiny, or expanding into new territories, we craft stories that elevate your reputation, differentiate your offer, and drive commercial momentum.

Members of our team have held senior comms roles at some of the world’s largest telecoms and connectivity companies such as Motorola and ARRIS. We’ve driven impactful PR campaigns for companies across the telecoms ecosystem, including Ontix and Dubber, developing comms and PR campaigns to raise awareness, support investment, and build trust with operators, suppliers, partners, and industry associations.

Telecoms PR services for telecoms and connectivity companies.

Our Telecoms PR Services:

Strategic Communications

Modern telco is just as much about resilience, innovation, consumer confidence, and societal impact as it is about the infrastructure itself. Our strategic communications services help position your company at the heart of these conversations.

We develop tailored messaging frameworks, PR strategies, and thought leadership that resonate with industry, government, and end-users.
Leading the way in Open RAN, pushing the boundaries of network virtualisation, and entering new markets? Whatever the story, we’ll help you tell it uniquely and authoritatively.

Digital PR & Social Media

With tailored digital PR and social strategies, we amplify your voice in an increasingly noisy market. From shaping your social media presence on LinkedIn and X to engaging with influencers and industry analysts, we help you build visibility and community.

We also connect you with telecoms journalists, newsletter editors, and online forums that influence buying decisions and industry sentiment.

Telecoms Industry Events, Awards & Speaking Opportunities

We can get you in the room and on the stage at major telecoms events like Mobile World Congress (MWC), Connected Britain, or Network X. We secure the speaking slots, award entries, and media moments that position you as a leader in the connectivity space.

We also manage on-site media and analyst engagement, press briefings, and interviews to maximise impact at industry events.

Content Development

We craft content that makes your technology relatable and relevant.

Our team creates sharp, strategic content, including press releases, thought leadership articles, deep-dive blogs, case studies, whitepaper reports, and social media posts.

Analyst Relations

Analysts shape how your buyers, investors, and partners see your brand. We help you build strong, strategic relationships with firms like Gartner, Forrester, CCS Insight, and Omdia, ensuring your story lands with the right insight and impact.

We can help develop messaging, prepare you for briefings, and build ongoing relationships to ensure you’re visible, credible, and aligned with the key analysts influencing your market.

Crisis Communications

Outages and data breaches are now a matter of when, not if. We offer crisis comms support to ensure your leadership team is media-ready and resilient under pressure.

Market Intelligence & Trend Analysis

Our reports keep you ahead of emerging developments in mobile edge computing, private 5G networks, and global policy.

Our Telecoms Expertise

Our leadership team brings decades of experience in telco and digital infrastructure, working with some of the biggest names in the industry to drive transformation, brand reinvention, and global visibility.

Before founding TFD, our CEO, Stephanie Forrest, led global and regional communications at Motorola, Liberate, and Inktomi. From launching B2B digital comms strategies to driving Android thought leadership campaigns across EMEA and Asia, she’s delivered high-impact communications in some of the sector’s most competitive and fast-changing environments.

“At Motorola, I led comms through periods of massive transformation, including the rise of Android to the convergence of home and mobile experiences. That experience taught me how to craft stories that resonate with both technical and non-technical audiences, and how to build influence with the people who really matter.”

Stephanie Forrest, CEO & Founder, TFD

Our two directors, Gemma Goatly and Katie Finn, also have a rich history of delivering impactful telecoms communications.

Gemma was responsible for leading communications across EMEA and APAC for ARRIS, the American telecommunications equipment company, before its acquisition in 2019. She also spent over 12 years in senior communications roles at Motorola, supporting both internal and external comms across global markets.

Meanwhile, Katie has led high-profile PR campaigns for leading telecoms companies, including BICS (Proximus Global), NETSCOUT, CBNL, and Nokia Networks, building strategies that drive engagement, coverage, and commercial results.

We have strong relationships with key global telco journalists, such as Scott Bicheno, editorial director at Telecoms.com. We recently spoke with Scott to gather his advice about engaging media at events – you can read his insights here.
