Pins Collective: Kickstarter Campaign

Crowdfunding for the world’s first digital pin

Swedish start-up Pins Collective had a vision to create a world first: an expressive digital pin allowing users to create, share and wear images and animations via a connected smartphone. We provided multi-regional marketing and PR support for its 30 day Kickstarter campaign, aiming to raise $75,000 towards product development and bringing the wearable to market.

Think:               our crowdfunding experience allowed us to create a tailored marketing and PR strategy, designed to have maximum impact
Feel:           we focused on media outreach across tech, design and lifestyle sectors within target markets, as well as pay-per-click, social media and content marketing
Do:            120+ pieces of coverage reaching further territories than planned, in turn generating hype amongst the intended audience

The campaign was 100% funded within two weeks of launch, with $102,066 raised overall from over 1,000 backers.
